I paint, I play the piano (when my foot recovers from surgery), and I write.

There are currently two books in this SOUL'S WARFARE series: THE HOT MARBLE and THE CAVE CHAMBER. These are now published by Winged Publications, and my self-published books are taken off Kindle and Amazon. The newly published books will very soon be available on Amazon and Kindle.

A third book in the series, RECOVERY, is in progress. After that, look for the 4th book, FROM SILENCE TO SINGING.

In Chapter 3 of The Hot Marble, "The Attack," Lewis is ordered to work with the enemy or his family may be hurt. This is a powerful, but horrible motivator. In a more subtle way, the threat exists with a so-called "normal" situation. For instance, a child feels the tension or anxiety of her parents and adjusts her behaviors to "protect" them. She gets used to not expressing her negative emotions. She doesn't tell what scary things she's seen or experienced. The habit may last well into her future. It takes a while to unlearn that behavior. But it can be unlearned.
